BB Season 13, Game 6

The Great 8 this week had some “good grief” scores this week. Every single match was a blowout in the conference, with the closest game being the Ashkickers 43 point win over the recently botted West Virginia Mountaineers. As a result, several Great 8 teams saw a significant jump in the standings this week.

The Big 8 also saw significant results. Congrats to Deadwood Gunslingers for posting his first victory in DIII. He will need more to avoid relegation, but it is a start. Charlie and the Unicorns beat Lokomotiv Atlanta at his own game, no small task. And in a match between possible playoff teams, The Mercenaries held on against Clan MacLeod.

   Cool stuff bledderag. You are right about the blowouts in the Great 8. Teams who tank games are going to impact the rankings

   Yeah. I think in the long run it’ll even out. But for the short term it wrecks merry hell with the rankings.
