BB Season 13, Game 5

Roundup time…Lokomotiv put up another monster game, keeping himself on top of the SoS adjusted rankings. The Mercenaries were upset by illinois frostes, with the frostes pulling away at the end. And I do mean pulling away. The game was tied with less than 4 minutes left, and the frostes wound up winning by 15. Charlie and the Unicorns have pulled themselves into the playoff race by beating Red Storm Il.

In the Great 8, The Ashkickers handed Riverside Douchebags their first loss for the season. Ghost Move and Cathar Heretics have pushed to within a game of playoff position with solid wins.

In the raw numbers, Riverside Douchebags remains on top, but Lokomotiv Atlanta is closing the gap. There is a sizable gap between 7th and 8th, and Goldsboro Pigs have been struggling heavily sinking way into last place.

It looks like we finally have enough games for the adjusted numbers to start meaning something. These rankings are looking much closer to what conventional rankings would suggest. Lokomotiv Atlanta remains in first overall, and we can start looking at rankings in individual categories. Lokomotiv moves into first in rebounding, although Charlie and the Unicorns are no slouch in that category by any means. Despite ranking only 6th in points scored, the Mercenaries are boasting the best offense so far this season (largely due to slower paced games). Riverside Douchebags easily has the best defense so far, a stat backed up by the conventional PA. And finally in shot prevention, The Ashkickers have been tops in that category.
